I got surprised, by this little fella, while out hiking a few weekends ago. He was not too happy to see us (hence the striking pose and rattling tail). Turns out that these snakes, Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes, are quite a dangerous breed! I have learned my lesson and will be much more cautious from now on.

The wildflowers are so beautiful this time of year! Plus, the rain has caused everything to grow lush and plentiful! It was so green and pretty!
